Te Kauhanganui is woven in the Jacquard style which allows for a vibrant design to feature that has been combined in 3 complex weave structures. Crafted from 100% New Zealand Lambswool, 35 threads per square cm, the main body of the blanket is complemented with a decorative blanket stitch edge. It has gone through an open-width scouring process and has a soft natural hand-feel, with a reversible pattern for double the artistic appeal and enjoyment. Yarn colours applied to bring out the clarity of this design are rusted ochre, sandstorm and astro azure.

Wool blankets are among the most durable and desirable of all blankets. They're soft and warm, and are very difficult to stain or damage. Wool blankets are also very easy to care for and you don’t need to wash them often, in fact, it’s best to wash them sparingly and some guidelines recommend washing wool blankets once every three months.
Check out our product care page for further information on how to care for your blanket.
